Hey Shorty!

Calling all 5ft 4in girlys! I've finally found a brand that fits. It's called Holic. Not only are the clothes super cute but they're made for petite girls, like myself. I always have this problem when buying maxi dresses and denim. They're always too short. Or if they do fit, I found them in the petite section of JcPenny and run the risk of my great aunt wearing the same thing. This fits, and it's trendy. The brand comes from Korea and it's very hard to find a website that will deliver to the states. Lucky for you I already did all the searching! You can find this wonderful brand at Angiehearts.net

Happy shopping my fellow shorties!

Something About Those Lemons..

I'm not sure if it was the story or the video. But this foundation has got me hooked. For the past few years I've been working with various non-profits and setting up fundraising events. Most of that work was for my own networking. Now I have an opportunity to use all that knowledge I got for some good. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer is one of the most amazing foundation's I've ever had the privilege of working with. They really take that old saying "When Life Gives You Lemons.." seriously. So I started a group of volunteers in my hometown and now we're doing a festival event. If you will be in the Fresno, CA area during Labor Day Weekend come out to support a great cause.

The event will be from 11am - 8pm in Sanger, CA. The event venue is Sanger Park that's on the corner of 5th and Academy. For more information feel free to leave a comment or contact me via email : ashleymarie.mireles@yahoo.com

Triumphet Return

Well I've been super busy lately with all my projects and school I forgot about my blog. What a horrible blogger I am.

The minute I saw these shoes I had to post them somewhere and here they are. They are by Anne Michelle and they are for sale on LuLus.com I'm loving the platform. I know that all of my most comfortable shoes have a platform. That little bit of cushion makes six inch heels so much more comfortable and for $33.00? I'm not complaining. I'm sure that these shoes will go with anything and everything I own. I'm thinking cocktail dress, statement necklace and these babies!

My Cup Of Tea

Maybe it's the dancer in me, but i love rompers. Another thing I love is American Apparel clothes so it's no surprise that I would love the rompers that they make. Before I start telling you why I love them so much I must type a disclaimer. THEY ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE!! It requires a certain confidence and a certain demure to pull off a romper. They are also not suitable for every occasion. You have to know how and when to rock it. That being said, I love them. They are super comfortable and super cute. Add a belt, a cardigan and a hat then your out the door. I own more than a few and I love them all. Rompers may not be your cup of tea but at least give them a little sip.

Whatta Betty!!

While I was browsing the web I stumbled across this clothing line: Lolita Girl Clothing. When I clicked on the link I loved what I saw. The line features 1940s and 50s style bathing suits and dresses. I will admit that more than a few of the dresses featured on this site look like they could be Betty Boop halloween costumes but this dress is love. The look is pure vouge and sex appeal. If you look up sexy in the dictionary this is what you should find. It is called the Classic [uh yeah] Vouge [hell yeah!!] Wiggle [umm..ok] Dress. The price is a little steep but I guarantee with the right heels and a whole lot of confidence you will knock 'em dead in this little number. I hope you'll visit the site and check out the looks for yourself.

Thank You For The Venom

I'm loving DuWop Tinted Prime Venom. I hate lip plumpers, they burn and personally i prefer lipstick over lipgloss, but this is one plumper that I could live with. Technically it's a plumping balm but it looks like a stain once applied. It's very sheer and matte and best of all it doesn't kiss off easily. The ingredients are awesome, plenty of conditioners to make my super dry lips ultra soft. When the guy at Sephora offered it to me at first I was skeptical but now I'm a beliver, I got it in Tango and Samba. Try it, buy it, belive me you'll love it!

Peace, Love, Old Clothes

I'm loving the Urban Renewal line from Urban Outfitters. The concept is that they take old clothes and make one of a kind dresses, skirts, pants and tops out of them. The rayon shift dress is my latest item of lust. The up side is you will not see anyone wearing your dress anywhere you go, only you will have it. The down side is this line of clothes isn't offered in all Urban Outfitters stores and you may have to order it online. Either way. I'm loving it and I want it and come pay day I will have it.

Welcome!

This is my first post and I'm sure this blog as of now looks plain and boring. Let me assure you, this will be great. While reading over various magazines I have realized that I fall in love with new things fast. I'm a product junkie, a shoe junkie, a purse junkie...basically I love to shop. I love anything that I can buy in a mall or boutique or thrift store and for that reason I have started this blog. Lots of love things is about the things I see and love. I can't always afford what I love but maybe you can. If you see something you like on here buy it and share the love. The goal is 2-5 posts per week. I hope you guys enjoy this as much as I do.
