Hey Shorty!

Calling all 5ft 4in girlys! I've finally found a brand that fits. It's called Holic. Not only are the clothes super cute but they're made for petite girls, like myself. I always have this problem when buying maxi dresses and denim. They're always too short. Or if they do fit, I found them in the petite section of JcPenny and run the risk of my great aunt wearing the same thing. This fits, and it's trendy. The brand comes from Korea and it's very hard to find a website that will deliver to the states. Lucky for you I already did all the searching! You can find this wonderful brand at Angiehearts.net

Happy shopping my fellow shorties!

Something About Those Lemons..

I'm not sure if it was the story or the video. But this foundation has got me hooked. For the past few years I've been working with various non-profits and setting up fundraising events. Most of that work was for my own networking. Now I have an opportunity to use all that knowledge I got for some good. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer is one of the most amazing foundation's I've ever had the privilege of working with. They really take that old saying "When Life Gives You Lemons.." seriously. So I started a group of volunteers in my hometown and now we're doing a festival event. If you will be in the Fresno, CA area during Labor Day Weekend come out to support a great cause.

The event will be from 11am - 8pm in Sanger, CA. The event venue is Sanger Park that's on the corner of 5th and Academy. For more information feel free to leave a comment or contact me via email : ashleymarie.mireles@yahoo.com

Triumphet Return

Well I've been super busy lately with all my projects and school I forgot about my blog. What a horrible blogger I am.

The minute I saw these shoes I had to post them somewhere and here they are. They are by Anne Michelle and they are for sale on LuLus.com I'm loving the platform. I know that all of my most comfortable shoes have a platform. That little bit of cushion makes six inch heels so much more comfortable and for $33.00? I'm not complaining. I'm sure that these shoes will go with anything and everything I own. I'm thinking cocktail dress, statement necklace and these babies!
